Citizens of the World Charter Schools is creating a national network of charter schools that reflect the socioeconomic, racial and cultural diversity of their communities and exemplify a rigorous, student-centered academic program. Our schools will ensure that children realize their potential as CITIZENS OF THE WORLD.
In the Los Angeles area, the Los Angeles Unified School District approved the charters for CWC Silver Lake and CWC Mar Vista on 2/7/12. CWC Silver Lake will open K-3 in fall 2012 and CWC Mar Vista will open K-2 in fall 2013 and they will grow to serve grades K-7 and K-5 respectively (with the eventual goal of serving students K-12). To learn more about these schools and to apply to CWC Silver Lake please consult the cwcschools.org website. More information and the application will be posted here as well in the near future. Thank you for your interest in CWC Schools.
